Honestly, the thing that stood out to me the most had nothing to do with Kaling's Velma… but one of her previous incarnations.
All the Velmas eventually came to realize the gravity and horror of their existence… including the one from A Pup Named Scooby Doo – a little girl.
An elementary school-age girl having flashbacks not just to previous lives… but ones where she (and her closest friends) were eviscerated by the cute dog… that's terrifying…
Even getting past that specific version, all the Velmas that came afterwards could have had flashbacks to that moment as well. Can you imagine – being reminded of your own slaughter as a child in another life? O_O
Now that's horror! Well done!

07.03.2023Bro imagine if this was actually canon? Like imagine Velma plays like it does but the ending is this? Imagine if that’s the direction they went and they actually have a logical explanation as to why they changed race’s. Like how SpongeBob kamp koral explained its continuity in its ending by explaining the time line got messed up or something and that’s why everyone meets sooner than they should. That would’ve been so wild.
